La Real Academia is a project started in 2020 by Joaquín P. Murray in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In July 2021 he released his debut EP, "Distracciones", recorded entirely in his room and released by the DIY 1/4 Record Company label. In September 2021 the band was formalized with the entry of Tomás Aldrey, Francisco Loria and Chapy Vacarezza.
